The tent uses high-quality aluminum poles that attach to the corners and top of the tent using eyelets in canvas strapping that are sewn to the tent’s Polyester Taffeta fabric. As seen in the image below, one of my original tent’s top eyelets was missing. I made do by cutting a hole in the strapping.

Amazon replaced the tent without delay.
